Lens Care & Safety
Before you wear colored contact lenses
All contact lenses, including decorative and non-corrective colored lenses, require a valid prescription in the United States. Purchase and wear only the exact lens brand, power, base curve, diameter, and other parameters prescribed and fitted by your eye care professional.
Essential care
- Wash and completely dry your hands before handling lenses.
- Follow the product labeling and your eye care professional's instructions for cleaning, disinfection, wearing time, replacement, and storage.
- Never expose contact lenses or a lens case to tap, bottled, distilled, lake, pool, or ocean water.
- Never sleep, shower, or swim in lenses unless the specific product labeling and your eye care professional permit it.
- Do not share contact lenses.
When to stop wearing lenses
Remove your lenses and contact an eye care professional promptly if you experience pain, redness, light sensitivity, discharge, swelling, or changes in vision.
