Cookie Policy
Last updated: August 18, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Eylumi uses cookies, pixels, local storage, software development kits, and similar technologies on eylumi.com. It should be read together with our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies can store or read information on a device, recognize a browser, record interactions, or send events to a service provider. Some are used only during a browsing session, while others remain until they expire or are deleted.
2. Categories we use
Strictly necessary
These technologies support essential functions such as storefront operation, page navigation, cart and checkout functions, account login, payment and fraud prevention, security, load balancing, privacy choices, and consent records. The site may not function properly without them.
Functional
These technologies remember choices such as language, region, display preferences, and other settings that improve or personalize the shopping experience.
Analytics
These technologies help us understand visits, traffic sources, page interactions, errors, and store performance. Eylumi currently uses Shopify analytics and may use Shopify app or custom pixels for analytics. Where required, analytics technologies are used only after consent.
Marketing
These technologies may measure advertising performance, limit repeated advertisements, build audiences, or personalize advertising on Eylumi and other services. Eylumi’s storefront supports Shopify app and custom pixels classified for analytics and marketing. Where required, marketing technologies are used only after consent.
3. Providers
Shopify provides the Eylumi storefront, cart, checkout, privacy controls, analytics, and pixel framework. Information about Shopify cookies is available in Shopify’s Cookie Policy. Security and form-protection services may include hCaptcha and Google reCAPTCHA, which process device and interaction information under their own privacy terms.
Other service providers may set technologies when a related feature is enabled, such as payments, reviews, customer support, analytics, or advertising. The technologies actually available may vary by page, destination, browser settings, and consent choices.
4. How long technologies remain
Session technologies generally expire when the browser closes. Persistent technologies remain for the period selected by the provider or until deleted. The duration depends on the purpose, such as keeping a cart active, remembering preferences, maintaining security, measuring performance, or respecting an opt-out request.
5. Your choices
Where a consent banner or cookie preference tool is displayed, you can accept, reject, or adjust non-essential categories and later change your selection through the available privacy controls. Strictly necessary technologies cannot be disabled through the preference tool because they are required to provide the website and requested services.
You may also block or delete cookies through browser settings. Doing so may cause accounts, carts, checkout, saved preferences, or other functions to work incorrectly.
6. Targeted advertising opt-out and Global Privacy Control
Residents of certain U.S. states may opt out of activity considered sale, sharing, or targeted advertising through Your Privacy Choices. Where required, Eylumi and Shopify also recognize a Global Privacy Control signal for the browser or device sending it.
7. Do Not Track
Because there is no uniform industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, the site may not respond to them. This does not affect recognition of Global Privacy Control where required by law.
8. Updates
We may update this policy when technologies, providers, or legal requirements change. The current version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
9. Contact
Questions about cookies and privacy choices may be sent to support@eylumi.com.
